If we look at the background history, we see that CéDé® emerged from a bird hobby. Thanks to close cooperation by and between nutrition experts, scientists and bird lovers, the value of CéDé products is always tested in the bird breeding sector.

The starting point is the nutrition needs of birds in nature.  Birds live in an ever recurring cycle of rest, breeding and moulting periods.   They depend on attendant circumstances such as light, temperature, nesting opportunity, feeding, etc. in their natural living environment (biotope).  During the breeding period, the food available for rearing the young varies widely.  In addition to seeds, seed-eating birds give their young also animal food in the form of insects, larvae, small eggs, etc.  We have learnt from this that animal food (animal protein) is very important for the growth and development of young birds.

CéDé® uses chicken’s eggs as a source of animal protein.  They are baked into a nutritious egg cake, which thanks to its light structure can be well digested by young birds.  In addition, dried insects are also processed in various CéDé® products so as to cater for the natural need of birds for animal food.
